The stainless steel cold-rolled pickling and annealing process can be divided into intermediate annealing pickling and final annealing pickling. The main purpose is to recrystallize the cold-rolled stainless steel after annealing to eliminate work hardening, thereby softening and improving mechanical properties, and to remove impurities such as iron oxide scale generated during annealing through pickling, further improving the surface quality of the strip.

Galvanized aluminum zinc silicon (GL) products are produced by hot-dipping steel strip in an aluminum (Al 55%), zinc (Zn 43.5%), and silicon (Si 1.5%) alloy. They exhibit excellent corrosion resistance. Hot-dip aluminum zinc alloy is developed based on hot-dip aluminum and hot-dip galvanizing technologies. It combines the excellent atmospheric corrosion resistance and heat/oxidation resistance of aluminum-coated products with the excellent electrochemical protection of galvanized steel products, making cut and scratched areas less susceptible to corrosion and rust.
Annealing steel strip is to homogenize the chemical composition and structure of the steel, refine the grain size, adjust the hardness, eliminate internal stress and work hardening, and improve the forming processability of the steel. Continuous annealing is a process in which the steel strip is heated to an appropriate temperature under a protective atmosphere and held for a certain period of time, followed by cooling and overaging treatment. In order to improve the surface quality of the strip, an online leveling machine is generally designed.
The cold-rolled non-oriented silicon steel (CNGO) is degreased, decarburized and annealed, and recrystallized annealed under a protective atmosphere to reduce the carbon content of the strip to the specified range, to grow the grains, improve the magnetic properties, eliminate stress, and apply an insulating layer.

On March 29, 2025, the 300,000-ton/year continuous hot-dip galvanizing production line of the Phase II project of Samarqand Metallurgiya Zavodi (SMZ, Samarqand Iron and Steel Plant), Uzbekistan, general contracted by Huangshi Shanli Technology Co., Ltd. (“Hunan Jinci”), undertaken by Huangshi Shanli Science and Technology Co., Ltd. (“Huangshi Shanli”), was successfully put into operation for the first time!
On September 14, 2024, Huangshi Shanli Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanli Technology") once again demonstrated its outstanding strength, successfully assisting Jiangsu Zhongsheng Electromagnetic Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiangsu Zhongsheng") in the one-time successful commissioning of its third non-oriented electrical steel continuous decarburization and annealing unit. On July 2, 2024, the 100,000-ton/year continuous coil coating production line "product upgrade and transformation project" of Shandong Ruifeng Composite Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shandong Ruifeng"), undertaken by Huangshi Shanli Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanli Technology"), was successfully put into operation. The coil coating production line was originally designed and constructed by Shanli Technology and officially put into operation in 2010. The production line has a design production capacity of 100,000 tons/year, with raw materials including hot-dip galvanized steel coils, electro-galvanized steel coils, and alloyed steel coils, with specifications of 0.11-0.8mm (thickness) x 700-1250mm (width), and a maximum operating speed of 100 mpm. For 15 years, the production line has been operating normally, and the high-end coated products produced have been exported to Southeast Asian countries along the "Belt and Road". In order to further improve the stability of the production line and increase the variety of products, Shandong Ruifeng once again joined hands with Shanli Technology to carry out the transformation of the production line. The maximum coil diameter that can be processed in the inlet section has been increased from 1450mm to 1800mm; multiple sets of tension rollers have been added to improve the stability of the production line; and a cold lamination function has been added to produce new products. Since the design and construction of the No. 1 continuous hot-dip galvanizing production line in 2007, Shanli Technology has successively built 3 continuous hot-dip galvanizing/aluminum-zinc production lines and 1 continuous coil coating production line for Shandong Ruifeng, and has undertaken several upgrades and transformations of the production lines. The successful commissioning of this coil coating production line transformation project is another fruitful result of the 18 years of sincere cooperation between the two companies.
